Usage and cost.
A reservation is not a charge. A request is settled from its recorded usage at the applicable model rate.
Usage
All amounts are integer micro-USD internally. No floating-point arithmetic is used for money.
Reserve, then settle
Before routing, Infera reserves the request's maximum estimated cost from your available balance. When the request ends, the unused amount is released and actual usage is charged.
Usage source
Reported usage uses returned token counts. Estimated usage is shown when counts are not available, for example after a client disconnect.
Balance
Your prepaid Infera balance is used for requests. Dashboard receipts show the balance, reservation and charge separately.
